Overview

Gintex-V130 is a 130 gsm waffle-structured fabric made from 50% meta-aramid and 50% flame-retardant viscose. Designed for protective garment lining applications, it combines a lightweight construction with a soft hand feel and a breathable waffle structure.
The fabric's listed flame-resistant performance includes EN ISO 11611 Class 1 (A1 A2), EN ISO 11612 (A1 A2 B1 C1 F1) and NFPA 2112 PASS. Its measured air permeability of 506 L/m²/s under a pressure of 50 Pa supports its positioning as a breathable lining material.
With reported tensile strength of 520 N in the warp direction and 370 N in the weft direction, Gintex-V130 combines lightweight construction with practical mechanical performance for lining development in protective workwear.
Why It Works

Lightweight Construction: 130 ± 5 gsm for lining applications where low fabric weight is desirable.

Breathable Waffle Structure: Air permeability of 506 L/m²/s at 50 Pa

Soft Hand Feel: The meta-aramid/FR-viscose blend is intended for comfortable protective garment lining applications.

Flame-Resistant Performance: Listed performance against EN ISO 11612 and NFPA 2112.

Welding Protection: EN ISO 11611 Class 1 (A1 A2).

Practical Mechanical Strength: Tensile strength of 520 N warp and 370 N weft, with tear strength of 27 N warp and 26 N weft.

Abrasion Resistance: More than 10,000 cycles at 12 kPa.

Pilling Resistance: Grade 4 after 5,000 cycles.

Dimensional Stability: Reported dimensional changes of -2.6% warp and -1.0% weft after five washes at 60°C.
