Overview
At 200 gsm, this ripstop fabric is made from 93% meta-aramid, 5% para-aramid and 2% anti-static fibers, with a chemical liquid resistant treatment. It is tested to NFPA 2112 and ISO 6530, and also meets EN ISO 11611, EN ISO 11612 and EN 1149-5.
Why It Works
Flash fire: NFPA 2112 PASS.
Inherent FR fibers: 93% meta-aramid and 5% para-aramid, with 2% anti-static fibers (EN 1149-5 PASS).
Chemical liquid resistant treatment: ISO 6530 PASS.
Ripstop structure: tear strength 71 N warp / 58 N weft.
Strength: tensile 1348 N warp / 881 N weft.
Abrasion resistance: over 50,000 cycles at 12 kPa.
Dimensional stability: -2.1% warp / -0.8% weft after 5 × 60°C washes.
Pilling resistance: grade 4 after 5000 cycles.
