Gintex-Modvis 270: One Fabric. Six Standards.
At 270 gsm, this double-layer fabric, made from modacrylic, aramid, cotton, polyester and anti-static fibers with an acid-proof finish, is tested to six standards covering flame, heat, arc, anti-static, high-visibility and liquid chemical splash performance. Its abrasion resistance of over 20,000 cycles suits workwear that sees heavy wear.
Why It Works
Double-layer construction: two-layer structure with a polyester composite surface.
Modacrylic / aramid blend: FR fibers in the fabric, with arc protection of APC 1 (EN IEC 61482-2).
Acid-proof finish + EN 13034 PASS: limited liquid chemical splash protection.
High abrasion resistance: over 20,000 cycles at 12 kPa.
Strength: tensile 980 N warp / 690 N weft, tear 60 N warp / 63 N weft.
Dimensional stability: -1.1% warp / -0.1% weft after 5 × 60°C washes.
Pilling resistance: grade 4-5 after 5,000 cycles.
