Overview
At 330 gsm, this twill fabric is made from FR viscose, wool, nylon and anti-static fibers. It is tested to EN ISO 11612 with D3 (molten aluminium) and E3 (molten iron) splash codes, and also meets EN ISO 11611 Class 1, EN 61482-2 (APC 1) and EN 1149-5.
Why It Works

Molten metal splash codes: EN ISO 11612 D3 and E3, the highest level for molten aluminium and molten iron splash.

FR fibers: FR viscose and wool, with nylon and anti-static fibers.

Abrasion resistance: over 20,000 cycles at 12 kPa.

Strength: tensile 810 N warp / 700 N weft, tear 31 N warp / 29 N weft.

Pilling resistance: grade 4 after 7000 cycles.

Dimensional stability: -2.1% warp / -2.8% weft after 5 × 60°C washes.

Anti-static: EN 1149-5 PASS.
