Overview
At 200 gsm, this double-layer, special-weave fabric is made from 93% meta-aramid, 5% para-aramid and 2% anti-static fibers, with a moisture-absorption and sweat-releasing finish. It is tested to ASTM F1959 (ATPV 12 cal/cm²), ISO 61482-1-2 (APC 1) and NFPA 2112, and also meets EN ISO 11611, EN ISO 11612 and EN 1149-5 (1149-3).
Why It Works
Arc protection: ATPV 12 cal/cm² (ASTM F1959) and APC 1 (ISO 61482-1-2).
Flash fire: NFPA 2112 PASS.
Inherent FR fibers: 93% meta-aramid and 5% para-aramid, with 2% anti-static fibers.
Double-layer construction: 200 gsm.
Strength: tensile 1379 N warp / 1165 N weft, tear 134 N warp / 130 N weft.
Abrasion resistance: over 50,000 cycles at 12 kPa.
Moisture-absorption and sweat-releasing finish.
Dimensional stability: -0.6% warp / -0.4% weft after 5 × 60°C washes.
Pilling resistance: grade 4 after 5000 cycles.
